In our beautiful garden café we offer you a variety of sweet and traditional food. The South Tyrolean confection of pastry like, for example, Apfelkiachln (apple pastry), crullers, butter stollen, strauben (pastry), hasenöhrln (pastry filled with jam) and different kinds of strudel are part of our menu and always served fresh.

These and other South Tyrolean pastries have a long tradition. The so called "Krapfenbetteln" (begging for crullers) is at the beginning of November. Masked boys go from farm to farm to beg for rye crullers and to bring luck to the farmers.

A hearty speciality is the South Tyrolean bacon with its fine flavour and its great aroma. On the third weekend in May there is the big bacon festival in Bozen every year, with numerous events and possibilities to try different kinds of bacon.
