In our beautiful garden cafe we offer you a variety of sweet and traditional food. The South Tyrolean confection of pastry like for example Apfelkiachln (apple pastry), crullers, butter stollen, strauben (pastry), hasenöhrln (pastry filled with jam) and different kinds of strudel will be part of our menu and always served fresh.

These and other pastries which are typical for South Tyrol have a long tradition. The so called "Krapfenbetteln" (begging for crullers) is in the beginning of November. Masked boys go from farm to farm to beg for rye crullers and to bring luck to the farmers.

A hefty speciality is the South Tyrolean bacon with its fine flavour and its great aroma. On the third weekend in May there is the big bacon fest in Bozen every year. The big fest offers numerous events and possibilities to try the fresh kinds of bacon.
