Alpe di Siusi ... real mountain atmosphere

Overview

Holiday paradise in South Tyrol

Amidst the world-famous UNESCO Dolomites in South Tyrol, the Alpe di Siusi (the largest high mountain pasture in Europe) lies just a few minutes away from our hotel in Castelrotto. About 20 km north-east of Bolzano, our hotel is also close to other popular holiday resorts such as Siusi and Ortisei in the Val Gardena.

At an elevation of between 1,680 m and 2,350 m, the Alpe di Siusi mountain pasture occupies an area of about 56 km², and almost devoid of car traffic. To get to this magnificent mountain wonderland beneath the Sciliar and the Sassolungo mountain massifs, you can take the modern cableway, or regular bus shuttle to the top.
