Our Garden Café ... culinary delights to enjoy under the open sky
South Tyrolean delights
Enjoy homemade cakes, snacks and pastries in the congenial Garden Café of the Hotel Restaurant Zum Turm in Castelrotto.
We serve homemade delights such as authentic apple strudel, grandma’s buckwheat cake, curd strudel or tiramisu – with a satisfying cappuccino, if you desire. All our cakes and pastries are freshly-made by us on a daily basis.
Our Garden Café is open to hotel guests, out-of-town visitors and locals alike.
We warmly welcome you in our Garden Café!
Savoury Snacks ... something between meals
Savoury snacks are on the all-day menu. We don’t mind if you prefer our Brettljause cold cuts platter, a goulash soup or just a toasted cheese sandwich – whatever your choice, your hunger will be satiated. Guaranteed!
South Tyrol boasts a long tradition of home-baking. From the beginning of November, young men wearing masks go from one farm to another begging for rye doughnuts, which brings good luck!
Matured and expertly seasoned, South Tyrolean „Speck“ bacon is made according to a special recipe – resulting in a particularly mouth-watering aroma. Every year, in the 3rd weekend of May, the South Tyrolean Speck Festival is held in Bolzano. The fair comprises numerous events as well as tasting of all sorts of Speck bacon varieties.
We belong to the South Tyrolean Inns Association
Typical regional culinary specialities and genuine hospitality steeped in a deep sense of tradition are hallmarks of the member establishments that form part of the South Tyrolean Inns Association. Together with more than 30 other traditional establishments in South Tyrol, the Zum Turm contributes to the promotion and preservation of age-old innkeeping traditions.
Our intimate Garden Café is right in the heart of Castelrotto. Why not spend an unforgettable afternoon on our sun terrace? In case it rains, the awning provides shelter.
