An inn with a long-standing tradition
Situated in the historic centre of the town of Castelrotto, reference to the original „Turmwirt“ hospice first appeared in the town register in 1511. At that time the seat of the provincial court was on the first floor of the building, where life and death decisions were sometimes made.
Nowadays, our intimate ambience and home-style cooking only offer hospitality. The modern-day „Turmwirt“ run by the Sader Family is a congenial meeting-point, popular with visiting guests and locals alike. Where living village traditions are still celebrated.

Typical regional culinary specialities and genuine hospitality steeped in a deep sense of tradition are hallmarks of the member establishments that form part of the South Tyrolean Inns Association.
